Build Logs / systems in progress
See how a smart LED system gets built.
Each build log keeps physical hardware, control path, power plan, BOM, evidence status and unfinished decisions in the same record.

BUILD / LIGHT ENGINE Home Assistant lighting with a known control path.
Build a room around local entities, serviceable hardware and an honest compatibility record.
WLED room lighting that leaves the wiring legible.
Use addressable effects where they add value, then document power, injection and recovery.
Tuya setup for people who value a fast first evening.
A clear cloud route for app-first users, with the Home Assistant bridge and its limits explained.
Kitchen and cabinet light without the mystery box.
Match CCT, aluminum, wire length and automation level to the room before you buy a controller.
Media-room scenes that disappear when the movie starts.
Combine low-glare task light, wall wash and repeatable presets around the screen.
Low-voltage lighting for repeatable small batches.
Bring cutout, optics, connector and certification requirements. We will turn them into a testable sample.
How to read a Build Log
Follow the decisions, not only the finished photo.
A useful record shows what hardware was selected, how it was wired, which firmware or gateway was used, what failed and what still needs a sample or test.
Freeze the hardware
Record the light source, voltage, variant and physical installation boundary.
Name the control path
Keep the controller, firmware, gateway and exposed features beside the SKU.
Show the power path
Document load, cable, injection, fuse, connector and thermal assumptions.
Log the failure
Record the wrong pinout, restart behavior, limitation or revision change.
Link the next test
Point to the evidence record or sample needed before the build scales.
